The Santorini Archive Project is a structured archival initiative dedicated to the preservation and documentation of the historical heritage of Thira and Thirasia.
Its mission is to collect, digitize, catalog, and make accessible primary source materials that document the island’s social, economic, cultural, and institutional history from the 19th and 20th centuries, with ongoing expansion into contemporary documentation.
The Archive operates according to established principles of archival science, emphasizing preservation, provenance, accuracy, and public accessibility.
